MEET THE TEAM

Raquel C Hare, M.S., LMFT
Owner of Heart’N Mind Counseling
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
License#120707

Hi, I’m Raquel. I work with people who feel stressed, anxious, or sad — the ones whose thoughts won’t slow down, who feel foggy or stuck, or who carry more than they can handle on their own. I get how heavy life can feel when worries pile up or old hurts keep showing up.

I offer sessions in both English and Spanish and create a space where you can slow down, feel heard, and just be yourself. We’ll work together to untangle the tough stuff, find tools that actually help, and take small steps toward feeling lighter and more at peace.

You don’t have to have it all figured out — just showing up is a great place to start.

Sara Stokes, MA, AMFT
Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist#144060

Do you feel like you’re trying to keep everything together?
Maybe work, school, family, and friends feel like too much. Sometimes worries sneak in when it’s quiet, or old hurts still make you feel unsure about yourself. Life can feel heavy, and you just want things to be a little easier.

You don’t have to have all the answers — you just need someone who understands. I help people like you sort through the messy feelings, make space for healing, and feel more confident and calmer.

Going to therapy is a bit like taking out the trash — we let go of the stuff that doesn’t help us so there’s room for what matters. Together, we can face the hard stuff and make life feel lighter.

Cristina Haro, MA, AMFT

Hello, I’m Cristina.
I’m a bilingual therapist (English and Spanish) here to offer you a caring, safe space to slow down and breathe.

If you’re feeling worried, sad, or overwhelmed, you don’t have to go through it alone. Together, we’ll take small steps to help you feel more grounded, supported, and at ease.

When you’re ready, reach out — I’d be honored to walk this journey with you.

Josephine Harts, PMHNP-BC
Mental Health Nurse Practitioner | License#95016958

Josephine Harts, PMHNP-BC, is a California-licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who serves as a contracted prescriber with Heart ’N Mind Counseling. Medication services and psychiatric care are provided exclusively through therapist referral, ensuring treatment remains coordinated and aligned with each client’s therapeutic work.

In addition to medication management, Josephine conducts comprehensive psychiatric and medical assessments for individuals experiencing ADHD, anxiety, depression, and general mental health concerns. Evaluations are thorough, individualized, and informed by collaboration with the client’s therapist to support accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment planning.

At Heart ’N Mind Counseling, medication is approached as one component of a broader, integrated care model. Josephine joins a client’s care only when the client and therapist agree that psychiatric evaluation or medication support may be beneficial. Clinical care emphasizes education, shared decision-making, and continuity across providers.
